Ministries

There is something for everyone at UBC. Our ministries create opportunities for every age and stage to grow in God’s Word, serve the community, and build lasting relationships.

1st Friday Ministry

Our 1st Friday Ministry creates an opportunity for family worship experiences. On the 1st Friday of every month, men, women, and soon to include youth, meet in their individual ministries to encourage one another through fellowship and fun. On occasion, there is a collective worship experience designed to strengthen the family network.

Men of Armor — Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry (aka Men of Armor) serves the needs of men of all ages, ethnicities and walks of life. Men of Armor creates opportunities for men to study God’s Word, serve the community and build relationships with other men. In addition, the ministry has an arm to mentor younger boys who may or may not have a father in the home.

Sisters Seeking Christ — Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry (aka Sisters Seeking Christ) is a ministry designed to provide a safe-haven for women of all ages. We are proud to extend our reach and support women’s initiatives from the cradle to the grave.

Our Vision: We will serve as a channel for women to excel through biblical immersion, resulting in spiritual births and growth.

Our Mission: To meet women where they are, encouraging a personal relationship with Christ through prayer, praise and the prophetic Word.

Kingdom Kids — Children’s & Youth Ministry

Our Children’s/Youth Ministry (aka Kingdom Kids) fosters the spiritual growth of youth ranging from PreK to 12th grade. Knowing that children are our future, we recognize the need to equip them with sound Christian education for the furtherment of their development. The group meets every 3rd Friday and all youth within this age range are welcome to participate.

Deacons & Deaconesses

Our Deacons and Deaconesses are a vital part of the life and health of our church because their primary responsibility is to serve the people. Every 1st Sunday, they perform specific duties to ensure the Lord’s Supper is administered. They are a tremendous help to our Pastor in caring for the physical needs of the congregation.
